POSTER COLLECTION: A GLIMPSE OF VIETNAM

Each country has its distinct characteristics that are not seen elsewhere. It may be the Japanese manga or anime, the Swedish "lagom" way of life, or the way French people greet each other regularly by kissing on the cheeks. So how about Vietnam? What is the thing that makes you say: "Ah! This only happens in Vietnam!" merely just by looking at or thinking about it?

TEDxHANU will present a poster collection titled "A peek of Vietnam" to answer the question above. We will use familiar stories and pictures from everyday life to make meaningful posters, with the objective of demonstrating community cohesiveness and appreciating the unique characteristics of Vietnamese people. Despite the fact that the "materials" that make up this poster collection are relatively modest, they clearly display the Vietnamese people's mark.

The unique characteristics of a nation, which are the pride of every person, are the marks of that country. The national flag, national anthem, ao dai, and famous places all leave an impression, but so do relatively simple and ordinary things like sidewalk haircuts, iced tea, and daily habits. Until now, they have all been part of everyday life and have invisibly brought us closer together.

When we talk about our country with international friends, the mark of Vietnam is always something that makes us proud. We haven't had many opportunities to experience such marks throughout the last few months of being affected by the pandemic. However, the pandemic situation is improving, and we may expect a return to normal life in the not-too-distant future.

So, what tales and photos about Vietnam in everyday life can you find in the poster set "A glimpse of Vietnam"?
